Managing your account

Your personal details are under Settings → Account. The business details printed on your invoices are separate, under Business details.

Name and language

• Name: we use it in emails to you.
• Language: the language of the app and of emails to you (Dutch or English). Invoices have their own language per customer or per invoice.

Changing your email address

1. Under Email address, enter your new address and click Change email address.
2. We send a link to your current address. Click it to confirm the change.
3. Then we send a link to your new address. The change only takes effect once you've confirmed that too.

You sign in with your email address, and we send security notices to it.

Changing your password

Change your password under Settings → Security. Choose a unique password of at least 12 characters; we check whether it appears in a known data breach.

Tick Also sign me out on all other devices and revoke my API keys and connected apps if you think someone else could access your account.

Deleting your account

1. Download your invoices first: as a business owner you must keep them for 7 years. Use Export or download them one by one.
2. Under Delete account, click Delete account and type your email address to confirm.
3. We send a confirmation link to your email address. Open it in the same browser. The link is valid for 24 hours.

After confirming:

• we cancel your Pro subscription immediately; nothing more is charged;
• we delete your invoices, credit notes, customers, products, settings, API keys and connected apps;
• we only keep the invoices we sent you for your subscription, because we're legally required to keep them.

This can't be undone.
