Terms of service

• EenFactuurMaken.nl, we, us: the online service EenFactuurMaken.nl of DigitX BV, KvK 82240264.
• You, user: the business or organisation that creates an account.
• Service: the website, the web app, the API and the MCP server of EenFactuurMaken.nl.
• Pro: the paid subscription.

These terms apply to all use of the service. By creating an account you agree to them. The data processing agreement is part of these terms.

EenFactuurMaken.nl is meant for businesses and organisations, not consumers. Your own general terms don't apply unless we agree so in writing.

• You provide correct and complete information and keep it up to date.
• You keep your login details, passkeys, backup codes and API keys secret. You are responsible for what happens with your account or API keys.
• Notice someone else has access? Change your password right away, revoke API keys and let us know.

With EenFactuurMaken.nl you create, send and keep invoices. We check your invoices for the legally required details, but that is an aid, not tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for the content of your invoices, your choice of VAT situation and your own records, including the statutory retention obligation of 7 years.

We may improve and change the service. If we remove a feature you pay for, we'll let you know well in advance.

On the Free plan you create 5 invoices per calendar month. We keep invoices for 60 days after creation and then delete them. You remain responsible for your own records, including the 7-year fiscal retention obligation. We warn you twice by email (14 and 3 days in advance) and you can download your invoices as PDF and UBL before they are deleted. We only delete an invoice you haven't downloaded after warning you at least 3 days in advance. With Pro we keep your invoices for 7 years.

We may change the limits of the Free plan. We'll let you know at least 30 days in advance.

• Pro costs €7 a month or €70 a year, excl. VAT. You pay in advance through Stripe.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period until you cancel.
• If we raise the price, we'll let you know at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before the new price applies.
• If a payment fails, we try again. If payment still doesn't come through, your account returns to the Free plan.

• You can cancel Pro any time in your settings. The subscription runs until the end of the paid period. We don't refund a period that's already paid, unless the law requires it.
• You can delete your account any time. Export what you want to keep first.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms. Where possible, we'll warn you first.

• Creating invoices for supplies that didn't happen, or using the service for fraud in any other way.
• Sending spam or unsolicited email through the service.
• Posting content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights.
• Overloading the service, the API or the MCP server, bypassing security or trying to view other people's data. Responsible disclosure as described on our security page is welcome.

Your data remains yours. You can always export it. We only use it to provide the service, as described in the privacy statement and the data processing agreement.

We do our best to keep the service available at all times, but we can't guarantee it. We schedule maintenance outside office hours wherever possible.

Our liability is limited to direct damage and to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage, with a maximum of €500. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or fines.

These limitations don't apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.

The software and design of EenFactuurMaken.nl are ours. You get a right to use the service as long as your account exists. Your logo and content remain yours.

We may change these terms. We'll announce important changes at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before they take effect.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in [court location].
