Documentation
Everything about invoicing with EenFactuurMaken.nl, from your first invoice to reverse charge, credit notes, reminders, the API and your AI assistant.
EenFactuurMaken.nl is a simple invoicing app for businesses in the Netherlands. This documentation explains how everything works, step by step. Looking for something specific? Use the search bar (shortcut /) or pick a topic below.
Quick start
- Create an account and confirm your email address.
- Go through the welcome guide: your business details, your house style and your first customer.
- Make your first invoice, finalise it and send it.
Don't need an account and just want to make one invoice? Use the free invoice generator.
What can you do with EenFactuurMaken.nl?
- Invoices that are right. Before an invoice is finalised, we check it against the requirements of the Dutch tax authority (Belastingdienst): KvK number, VAT ID, the correct VAT statement and a sequential invoice number.
- Every VAT situation. Standard VAT, domestic reverse charge, EU customers, export, the KOR and exempt supplies.
- Send and get paid. Email your invoice with a PDF and an e-invoice (UBL), an online version and a payment QR code. Send reminders with one click.
- Corrections. You don't change an issued invoice; you make a credit note.
- Help with your VAT return. A VAT overview per quarter, already split into the boxes (rubrieken) of the Dutch return.
- Integrations. A REST API for your own software and an MCP server for ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini CLI and Copilot.
Free or Pro
On the Free plan you make 5 invoices a month (credit notes don't count) and we keep your invoices for 60 days. With Pro (€7 a month or €70 a year, excl. VAT) everything is unlimited and we keep your invoices for 7 years. You also get recurring invoices, automatic reminders, your own email domain, saved templates and a ZIP export. Everything is on Free and Pro.
