Logo, colours and style

Your invoice in your own house style, on every plan. Choose one of three styles, your colours and your logo, and turn the payment QR code and payment link on or off.

Your house style decides what all your invoices look like: the PDF, the online invoice and the colour of your emails. Set it under Settings → Layouts, on the House style tab. This works on every plan, including Free.

What can you set?

SettingOptions
StyleClassic (calm and businesslike), Modern (with a coloured header) or Minimal (clean, lots of white space).
ColoursA primary colour and an accent colour, as a hex colour like #047857. Default colours gives you the style's own colours back.
LogoShow the logo or not, its position (left, centre or right) and its height (20 to 160 points).
PaymentShow the payment QR code and show the payment link.

On the right you see a preview with your own details. Click Save house style to keep it. New and draft invoices use your house style straight away. Finalised invoices keep the layout they had.

If you choose another style without picking your own colours, you get the colours that belong to that style.

You upload your logo under Settings → Business details. A PNG or JPEG of up to 500 KB. Tips:

  • A landscape logo works best.
  • Use a PNG with a transparent background, especially with the Modern style and its coloured header.
  • Upload it at least twice as large as you want to show it, so it stays sharp.

Choosing colours

  • We use the primary colour for headings, lines and the button in your emails.
  • We use the accent colour for text and details.
  • Pick a dark primary colour, so white text on it stays readable.

More with Pro

With Pro you create saved templates: complete layouts with your own font, paper size, header and footer text and your own headings per language. Choose them as the default, per customer or per invoice. You can view and try them on every plan; saving and using them needs Pro.

Invoice language

The fixed texts on your invoice (like "Invoice date" and "Amount due") are in the invoice language: Dutch, English, German or French. You choose it per invoice or per customer. See Creating an invoice.
