# Markdown and llms.txt

Every public EenFactuurMaken.nl page is also available as Markdown, plus llms.txt and llms-full.txt. Handy for AI assistants, AI search engines and your own tools.

AI assistants prefer clean text over HTML full of menus and buttons. That's why every public EenFactuurMaken.nl page (the website, pricing, this documentation and the legal pages) also has a **Markdown version**.

## A page as Markdown

There are two ways:

1. **Add `.md` to the address.** For example `https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/en/pricing.md`, `https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/en/docs/vat/kor.md` or `https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/docs/api.md` (Dutch). For the home page use `/en/index.md`, for the documentation `/en/docs.md`.
2. **Ask for Markdown** with the `Accept: text/markdown` header on the normal address:

```bash
curl https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/en/docs/credit-notes -H "Accept: text/markdown"
```

The Markdown version contains the page content, without navigation, buttons and the search bar. Links are full URLs.

The app itself (`/app`), the sign-in pages and the API don't have a Markdown version: they aren't public.

## llms.txt

`https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/llms.txt` follows the [llms.txt standard](https://llmstxt.org): a short description of EenFactuurMaken.nl with links to the Markdown versions of all important pages, including all documentation, in Dutch and English.

`https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/llms-full.txt` contains the most important pages one after another in a single Markdown file. Handy to give to an AI assistant in one go, for example: _"Read https://eenfactuurmaken.nl/llms-full.txt and explain how I create a credit note."_

## For developers
